Four weeks remain in Mt Lawn season

With four weeks remaining in the 2010 racing season at Mt Lawn Speedway two of the three point championships are still up for grabs.

In the Mt Lawn Late Model division Eric Evans of Greenfield has a slim 14 point margin over second place Jeff Marcum of Morristown. Marcum picked up 4 points on Evans last Saturday at Fan Appreciation Night by setting fast time and winning the feature while Evans was second in time trials and the feature.

MC Auto Repair Hornet point standings show Brian Lewis of Indianapolis holding a 24 point lead over second place Joyce Dyer of Greenfield. Lewis gained 8 points on Dyer last week when he finished 4^th in the feature and Dyer finished 17^th when she dropped out early after being involved in an accident. Dyer picked up 4 point by being the fourth fastest qualifier while Lewis was not in the top 4 in time trials.

In the Thompson Builders Thunder Car division Neil Marcum of Morristown has the point championship all wrapped up as he holds a commanding 261 point lead over Chris Bolyard of Rushville. Marcum has won 14 of the 13 feature events so far in 2010.

Street Drags join the Late Models, Hornets and Thunder Car to make up the racing program this Saturday.

Ticket prices are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and $5 for kids 6-10 with 5 and under free.
